Exploring the Ideal AI Workflow: What’s Missing in Our Current Practices?

In recent months, I’ve dedicated significant time to developing and testing various AI workflows, and it’s become evident that many of us have had to cobble together our own personalized systems to maintain productivity. The landscape is diverse: some rely on an endless stream of prompts, while others keep dozens of chat sessions active simultaneously. Many utilize external documents to mitigate context loss, and some have simply given up and start anew each day.

The question I want to pose to the community is: what is the one AI workflow you wish existed—something beyond just tools or user interfaces? I’m referring to a seamless, effective process that fundamentally enhances how we interact with AI. What is the workflow that you constantly find yourself thinking AI should already be able to perform for you?

As someone focused on long-form content continuity and knowledge reuse, I am particularly interested in understanding what capabilities or processes are currently missing from AI systems that could significantly improve our productivity and creative process.

Please share your thoughts—what would a perfect AI workflow look like for you?
