A Thoughtful European Travel Itinerary for September 2026: Planning Tips and Insights
Planning an extensive trip across Europe can be both exciting and overwhelming, especially when aiming to make the most of your experience without feeling hurried. After a thorough review of our initial travel plans, I’ve refined our itinerary for September 2026, and I’m grateful for the invaluable advice shared by fellow travelers and travel enthusiasts along the way. Here, I’ll outline our revised route, along with some insights into our choices and tips for similar journeys.
Introducing Our Travel Background
My partner and I are a couple aged 31 and 29, originating from Sydney, Australia. This will be our first visit to Europe, and given the significance of the trip, we want to immerse ourselves in history, art, philosophy, and cuisine—elements that truly enrich the European experience. Considering the considerable distance from Australia, we aim to balance comprehensive exploration with a comfortable pace.
