Is it me or has their been some recent influx of “It seems like you are…” responses?

Title: Is There a Rising Trend in “It Seems Like You Are…” Responses in Online Conversations?
In recent weeks, I’ve observed a noticeable increase in certain types of replies during online discussions, particularly those beginning with phrases such as “It seems like you are…” or “It appears that you are…” It feels like this pattern has become more prevalent compared to just a month ago.
This repeated phrasing seems to occur frequently across various platforms, especially during ongoing conversations where clarity and continuity are crucial. While I wouldn’t typically mention this if it were just an isolated incident, the phenomenon appears to be escalating, particularly on interactions involving AI Language Models like GPT-4 and earlier versions, where such responses were less common.
What’s particularly perplexing is that these responses often appear mid-discussion, despite the fact that the preceding messages or shared images clearly align with the ongoing topic. It’s as if the responder has momentarily forgotten or failed to follow the flow of the conversation, resulting in responses that seem disconnected or overly generic.
Admittedly, I might be making a minor mountain out of a molehill here, but the frequency of these replies has become somewhat frustrating. It often leads to a humorous, albeit exasperated, remark like, “No kidding, it seems like? We’ve been discussing this for the last half hour!”
While I’m partly joking, I’d love to know if anyone else has noticed this trend. Is it just me, or have you also encountered an increase in such responses? Your insights would be appreciated.
