A Comprehensive 3-Week European Adventure: Exploring the UK and Italy from Late November to Early December

Travel enthusiasts often find joy in meticulously planning their trips, and as someone who enjoys this process, I recently embarked on a 21-day journey through the United Kingdom and Italy. Sharing this experience aims to provide fellow travelers with a detailed itinerary and useful insights, especially for those considering a similar multi-week exploration.

Travel Planning Background

My approach to trip planning leans heavily on online resources such as Reddit, YouTube, and travel forums. This trip involved a group of eight travelers spanning various age groups—70s, 50s, and 20s. We opted for Airbnb accommodations in London, Florence, and Rome, appreciating the flexibility and space they offered for a large, diverse group. In Venice, we stayed at a hotel for two nights. Our budget-conscious approach prioritized good value without sacrificing comfort.

Most of us had prior travel experience in the UK and Italy, with some visiting Europe for the first time. We prefer early starts and early endings to beat the crowds and maximize sightseeing.
