Exploring Europe Solo: A Well-Balanced 10-Week Itinerary

Embarking on a solo journey through Europe is an exciting adventure filled with new sights, experiences, and personal growth. After planning my first solo trip across the continent, I’ve designed a 10-week itinerary that aims to strike a balance between immersing myself in each destination and allowing ample time for travel and rest. Here, I’m sharing my route, transportation methods, and accommodation choices, hoping to inspire others considering a similar voyage.

Overview of My European Solo Journey

My trip spans from September through mid-November, encompassing a diverse array of cities renowned for their history, culture, and vibrant atmospheres. The core transportation mode is train travel via Eurail pass, complemented by a few flights where necessary. Most train journeys are relatively short—typically between 2 to 4 hours—making travel manageable and less exhausting. Accommodations are primarily hostels situated within a short walk from train stations, ensuring convenience and easy access upon arrival.
